Our faculty is 56% female and 44% male, which reflects our student body and our strong commitment to serving the needs of an all-encompassing student population.

We embrace the responsibility of fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. We believe that a diverse faculty better serves the needs of a diverse student body. Our faculty is comprised of 4.3% Asian/Pacific Islander, 5.2% Hispanic, .6% Native American/Alaskan, 67.5% Caucasian and 2.5% Unknown. With 19.9% Black or African American professors, we have more than three times the national average. We value and honor the diverse experiences and perspectives of everyone here at the University - and we’re proud of all of the backgrounds represented in the classroom.

Our faculty has a cumulative average of 20.5 years of professional industry experience in the areas in which they teach and an average of 8.4 years of teaching experience.
