At a strategic level, marketing provides many elements that guide an organization's development and execution of its business strategy. Marketing also plays a key role in identifying the competitive set, defining points of differentiation and establishing the brand. This course explains the role marketing plays in the development and execution of a business strategy and how this affects an organization. In this course, students will learn the principles of the marketing mix and the 4-Ps of marketing: Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. This course provides 0.4 continuing education units in one 4-hour workshop.
